Fantastic turnout for the first Local Place Plan drop-in session!

There was a fantastic turnout at yesterday’s Local Place Plan drop-in event for Gorthleck, Errogie and Torness, with a good range of diverse views and ages.

One of the activities was building models of how to improve the playpark in Gorthleck, a priority that emerged through the Community Action Plan last year.

Check out Eoghan and Mhari Bain's brilliant models of how to improve the playpark in Gorthleck - a zipwire by Eoghan, and a tree hut and garden by Mhari. Next week the team will be visiting the school in Gorthleck to get input from other local children.

As well as three schools sessions, there will be several other Place Plan events next week in Whitebridge, Inverfarigaig, Foyers and the community wide event on Saturday the 26th - plus a business event on the morning of Thursday 24th November.  More information here.

Pop along if you can and support the next stage of the Community Action Plan, chat about ideas and speak with Nick and the team.
