There are no other small communities in the Highlands that supports such a large tourist provision compared to the access, population and amenities. The campsite when full nearly doubles the population of the village. Whilst good for a miniscule percentage of the population the remainder have to put up with increasing pressure on roads noise, litter and pollution. This detracts from the main reason people chose to live here. Nature, the wilderness on our doorstep, unpopulated and quiet.
