I think directors should get paid for their time (no, I am not one of them!) I think people underestimate what's involved, especially considering that many have full time jobs and other responsibilities. We expect the Trust to act professionally and hold them accountable to high standards, while at the same time expecting the people that form the Trust to do our bidding for free. This is not fair or even right from the perspective of holding onto Directors and ensuring that projects get completed.
