Let's not always focus on volunteers to get support out there. Let's pay local people a wage to deliver the priorities identified by the Community Trust or Brolly group. This is how we support the WHOLE community. The people receiving the support are supported and the people giving the support are supported through earning a wage. If we were a tiny community group with no money then of course we would be relying on volunteers but we're not. We are a professional organisation which is well funded. Just to be clear, I am not referring to Trust Directors as I fully understand why and how they are volunteers. I am referring to projects that the trust is delivering.
